Stripping Eggs

If you never saw how easy it is to harvest the eggs of a sturgeon female, watch this video! Since our first experiences with Huso huso, however, we know that it takes a few more men and women to strip a Beluga.

We show this video, because we want to emphasize that this part of the caviar production from living sturgeons is not patented. It is an established technology used by many farmers, and used since centuries with all kinds os fish. The trick for making good caviar (which is patented) comes afterwards.

Can you see the beautiful eggs? After stripping, a short treatment according to the AWI patent will make perfect caviar out of them…
